[resume]

Daniel Wong is a UX designer from Lima, Peru, with a multicultural background and a unique perspective shaped by the DIY punk scene. His interest in design began with early exposure to GUIs and was further developed through a Design Thinking course during his Industrial Engineering studies, which led him to explore innovation labs and service design.

After gaining hands-on experience as a self-taught product designer, he earned a BFA in User Experience Design from SCAD, a program developed in collaboration with Google. He has since contributed to projects with BMW, Skullcandy, and Lucien Smith, working across physical and digital spaces to create research-driven, user-centered solutions.

This is a visual journey of all the experiences that have shaped Daniel Wong into the designer he is today:

OUTSIDE UX Daniel is deeply engaged in the global music scene, describing himself as an audio researcher. He has written for online music publications and founded a collective that produced press features, interviews, podcasts, and radio shows broadcast internationally. As both a college radio host and guest on major online platforms, he has helped foster music communities that connect people across cultures. This ongoing work in sound and community building enriches his design practice with a strong sense of storytelling, cultural awareness, and human connection.

USER EXPERIENCE [UX] DESIGN IS ABOUT SOLVING REAL PROBLEMS WITH EMPATHY, RESEARCH, AND ITERATION. I EMBRACE A NON-LINEAR, COLLABORATIVE PROCESS, DRIVEN BY DATA AND FOCUSED ON BOTH USER NEEDS AND BUSINESS GOALS. I THRIVE IN UNCERTAINTY, TESTING, REFINING, AND PUSHING BOUNDARIES TO DELIVER SEAMLESS, MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES THAT CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUO AND CREATE REAL VALUE.
